COVID-19 |
What can be said about the new lockdown in Scotland, in a whole it is the best thing for the country to get us out of the new lockdown and away from COVID-19, the problem I see is that the younger generation ageing between 18 and 25 some are not listening to guidelines social distancing, isolating et cetera et cetera, the problem is there is so many mixed messages unless you are watching the news 24 hours a day to keep up-to-date with either the UK news or the Scottish news then you have not got a clue, on what is actually going on.
For myself, I go shopping one day a week and I don't go out the door, unless I have no other choice for example picking up medication for myself or for my wife and she is in the vulnerable group. But for a lot of the younger people let's say they're still gathering when they shouldn't they still going to other peoples houses when they shouldn't and it's the innocent elderly people that fall victim because of the negligence or the disregard for other people, especially when you have people that just decide that they're going to have a party anyway let's say 15 or more people male and female, it goes on for let's say nearly 3 days and then they go back to where ever they normally live. but the people that live in the neighbourhood put up with what's going on, and if you say anything about it you just get told where to get off. Life is hard enough. What is in the vaccines? I would rather know what was in both of the vaccines before I would really want to take one because you could be the one in million or one in 100 that has an anaphylactic shock, then what happens or if it's anything like the flu vaccine you get the flu vaccine then you might end up with the flu, then what would you do if you got the vaccine and then you end up with COVID-19, Anyone will guess. What's coming, their estimate is that we could be in this lookdown to summer, me personally I think more like late autumn. Finding things to occupy your time is not that easy when you're stuck in your house 24 hours a day seven days a week only seeing your wife, husband maybe your children if you have any, trying to homeschool them must be hard if you're also working from home, this will depend on what kind of job it is you're actually doing. I find some of the information that is out there is not always explained in a way that some people might understand if is always going on about statistics and analysis and not everyone knows what they are talking about. For myself I'm going stir crazy, one thing though I've got rid of a lot of rubbish that I had collected over the years cleaned out cupboards so at least one thing the house has had a good spring clean 'even if it was actually through the winter' and I'm still continuing a little bit every day, I don't think I'm the only one that has actually done this I think there's a lot of people out there has decided to clean out the odd cupboards also the garage even the garden shed, as had some kind of makeover during this pandemic. Where will we be after COVID-19 has became more managed, it will never go away it will be with us, just like common flu it appears every winter. So we just have to find out when COVID-19 recurs year after year until the vaccines really get effective in the population of the world and as long as we follow common-sense then who knows, the story has not yet been written, but 2020 and beyond will go down in history as one of the worlds big pandemic's and will just have to see where it goes for future generations to come. |
